Book Drives and Fundraisers

Book drives and fundraisers help us fill our shelves with high quality books that kids love!  If your business, school, organization or community group would like to host a book drive on our behalf, please check out our Book Drive Toolkit.

If you are interested in hosting a fundraiser please email Deirdre (deirdre@madisonreadingproject.com) for details.

Events and Programs

Volunteers who are interested in working with kids at a book giving event or literacy program will need to complete an orientation as well as a background check. Please email us (volunteer@madisonreadingproject.com) for more information.

Group Volunteer Opportunities

Looking for a great team building activity?  We can accommodate groups of up to 10 people at our book center.  Families are also welcome!  To schedule a date and time for your group please email Deirdre (deirdre@madisonreadingproject.com).

Little Free Library Deliveries

During our regular business hours, volunteers can help us by picking up and distributing books to Little Free Libraries in the Madison area. You don't need to sign up. However, we  would appreciate an advance notice to allow time for us to set books aside for you. Please email us (volunteer@madisonreadingproject.com) prior to stopping by.
